Anya Volz and Anya Taylor joy
Anya Volz was born in Vermont but now lives living in New York City. Her stand-up comedy has been described as surprisingly funny and also not preposterous by people from all over America. She is a contributing writer as well as creator of content in the form of Riot Fest, The Hard Times The Hard Times, and Macaulay culkin Bunny Ears. Her work has been highlighted by BuzzFeed, Vulture and several comedy festivals across the country including New York Comedy Festival. She is half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. The family relocated to Buenos Aires to Victoria, London when Taylor-Joy turned six. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she refused to learn English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. She enrolled later at Queen's Gate School in which she took ballet classes and was involved in school productions. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her goals were realized when she received a modeling contract by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
